Patricia Takacs, DMD
Dr. Trish Takacs devotes her practice to providing Lexington families with comprehensive dental care in a comfortable environment. She’s a strong advocate of patient education and enjoys getting to know each of her patients. In 1984, Dr. Takacs launched Beaumont Family Dentistry, which outgrew two offices and moved to its current location in 1999.
After spending her childhood in Indiana and West Virginia, Dr. Takacs attended West Virginia University and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry with honors in 1983. In addition to running her practice, she has taught at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and coached dentists through a dental management company.
Dr. Takacs has completed continuing education courses in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular analysis, and full-mouth reconstruction. As a member of the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS), she is trained and certified in oral conscious sedation. Dr. Takacs is also an Invisalign VIP and Lumineers-certified doctor. She holds membership in the Academy of GP Orthodontics, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, Bluegrass Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society.
For 26 years, Dr. Takacs has been married to Norm. Together they have 2 children, a son and a daughter. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities and traveling, especially to the beach.
During her spare time, Dr. Takacs enjoys reading and playing with her dogs.
