Molly Thurmond, DMD

Kentucky native Dr. Molly Thurmond joined Beaumont Family Dentistry in 2007. After growing up in Franklin, she attended Centre College in Danville and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry with high distinction. She was named a Hinman Scholar and a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

After dental school, Dr. Thurmond completed one-year of advanced education in a general dentistry residency program at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. She has pursued additional training in general dentistry, including implants, dentures, and partials. Her memberships include the Bluegrass Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, and American Dental Association.

Dr. Thurmond particularly enjoys helping patients reclaim quality of life and increased self-confidence with modern dental prosthetics, including partials, dentures, and dental implants.  Dr. Thurmond is an avid fan of University of Kentucky athletics, especially basketball. An athlete herself, she plays basketball and softball whenever she has the chance. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities or a good book.
